The countdown is on! This is the last week to guarantee your student gets a yearbook. We will be ordering very few extra copies to sell at the end of the year. It is unlikely that there will be a book available for your child if you don’t order a book by January 27th.

We are excited to have our 5th graders join our middle school next year! To give our students and families a sense of our school culture in the upper grades, we invite our students a families to join us at one of our basketball games on Saturday, January 21st.

It’s almost time for basketball season! Our 5th grade boys are invited to open gym sessions at the middle school. Fifth graders are eligible to tryout and play for the middle school boys’ basketball team.

All elementary school students are invited to tryout for our school talent show!  We invite our best music, variety, and voice acts to participate!

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Honor Roll Assembly for our 1st quarter will be held on Friday, January 20th at 8:30 a.m. in the ES Gymnasium. Parents of students who earned an honor roll recognition will receive an email inviting them to the assembly.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held in classrooms from February 6th through February 16th. Teachers will create Sign Up Genius Links and share them with parents.

In December, the 5th grade had a great time creating various crafts from their “Holidays Around the World” research unit. Each teacher taught about the history of the holiday in a chosen country or region and the students built a craft from that country.

Believe it or not, it’s time to start thinking about middle school! All current 5th grade students and their families are invited to attend our Middle School Parent Information Webinar on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Cheer Team is hosting a Cheer Clinic for all elementary school students! Participants will learn more about becoming a Firebird cheerleader, meet our cheer coaches, learn cheer routines, and have an opportunity to cheer at a home game!

The Clearview Library District Building will be going through a remodel starting January 9th, 2023. During this time, the Bookmobile will be off the road in order to set up in their parking lot to provide limited services while the library building is closed. 

Join Mrs. Wilson for a warm cup of coffee and casual conversation at Coffee with the Principal! This is a great time for parents to get to know the elementary principal and have your questions answered or discuss topics related to your child’s education.

We are excited to offer a variety of intramural sports offerings to our 4th and 5th grade students in the spring!

The last day of the second quarter is December 15th. Parents will be able to view and print their child's second quarter report card from the Infinite Campus parent portal starting on January 10th

This time of year sparks giving in many areas and at WCA! We would like to give back to a community that is often overlooked during the holiday season. Residents living in memory care communities can struggle remembering day-to-day events but memories of their past can often be vivid

We want remind our families about a few important dress code rules.

The 4th grade classes will be presenting “A Colorado Christmas” on December 1st at 5:30 p.m. in the ES Gymnasium! Students should arrive in the music room at 5:15 p.m. as we will begin at 5:30 p.m. sharp.

WCA’s High School National Honor Society is excited to host Parents’ Night Out! Parents will have an opportunity to drop their students off for a night of games and fun while parents can sneak in some holiday shopping.

Sweets with Santa will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.! Join us for an afternoon full of holiday fun! If students bring a dozen sweet treats to the front office between December 5th and December 9th, they will earn a Free Dress Day on December 13th!

Join us for our Scholastic Book Fair! The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the elementary school library from Monday, December 5th through Saturday December 10th. The Book Fair will also be open during school hours (not after school).

As a reminder, school breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. Supervision begins in the backyard for all other students beginning at 7:40 a.m. If a student needs to be dropped off before 7:30 a.m. please make sure to sign up for our before- and after-school program with ABC Bright School-Age Centers.
