The WCA Athletic Department is gathering input from parents on the possibility of installing an automated live-streaming system in our MS/HS gymnasium and at our soccer field. The system would allow the games to be broadcasted live or available on-demand.

Congratulations to Brentyn Piaz who has committed to playing golf at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO! Brentyn participated in National Signing Day this week.

Congratulations to Coach Burroughs, our middle school girls’ volleyball coach, for being named the January 2022 Scheels Coach of the Month!

Our cheerleaders have been working with our elementary school students at a mini clinic! We’ve worked on stunts, tumbling runs, pyramids, and sideline cheers.

Windsor Charter Academy Middle & High School Cheer Teams marched in the Harvest Festival Parade! At WCA’s booth set up at the fair, our cheerleaders painted hundreds of children’s faces at their face painting booth! Our teams saw many of the school’s parents and students!

We are excited to invite our parents and students to volunteer at our game-day events! This is an ideal way for parents to fulfill their 35 volunteer hours, or for students to fulfill their volunteer hours. In order to be eligible for awards (HS) and participate in Firebird Fest (MS), students are required to submit their volunteer hours to the front desk.

Parents will need to create an 8to18 account in order to register for a sport. All parents of athletes need to complete an online registration form on our new software platform, 8to18, for each player. Parents will need to create an account on 8to18 by following these instructions.
