WCA High School Theatre is thrilled to present Shrek the Musical! This beloved story follows an unlikely hero—a grumpy but lovable ogre—who embarks on a life-changing journey with a wisecracking donkey, a fiery princess, and a crew of fairytale misfits straight out of the classic family film.

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests in April! CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards. The state’s summative tests measure students’ mastery of grade-level standards and growth over time.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Food Service Department believes scratch-made meals positively impact the health of all children! Across our campuses, we are committed to creating fresh, tasty, and nutritious meals through a farm-to-school model.

Beginning on February 20th, Windsor Charter Academy’s Executive Board meetings will be held in the MS/HS Media Center.

Windsor Charter Academy is seeking candidates to fill two positions on our Executive Board! The Election Committee is now accepting applications from potential candidates. Executive Board Members serve as unpaid volunteers but contribute significantly to the leadership and strategic direction of our schools. The term for each position is three years.

All elementary school students are invited to tryout for our school talent show!  We invite our best music, variety, and voice acts to participate!

Students who join the Art Club can work with various materials in a setting that offers quality, one-on-one assistance. Students can experiment and discover new art techniques. Let’s get creative!

The choir program at Windsor Charter Academy fosters a love of music from diverse cultures, periods, and genres while educating and equipping our students in the study and execution of the musical performing arts.

We are excited to start planning our classrooms for the next school year! Windsor Charter Academy teachers and administrators are responsible for placing all children within a classroom learning environment that best suits their academic, social, and behavioral needs.

As we collectively work to have a successful second semester, we want to take a moment to remind everyone about the importance of respect and patience during pick-up time. Our staff works hard to ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe dismissal process for all students.

We are excited to share with you that our school will be participating in “Kindergarten Bring Your Parent/Guardian to PE Week” from March 10th through March 14th. 

On Wednesday, March 5th, we invite students and staff to come to school dressed as their favorite book character! Please join in on the festivities by dressing as a true book character. Students should be able to name the book in which their character plays a role.

The 5th-Grade Changing Bodies Class will be offered from March 17th through 21st from 2:10 to 3:00 p.m. each day. This class helps both boys and girls to understand the physical and emotional changes they experience during puberty and acknowledge these changes as a normal part of growth and development. 

It’s time for our Science Fair! Fifth-grade students will be presenting Science Fair projects on Friday, February 27th. Guests are invited to view the displays from 8:30 to 9:10 a.m. in the ES cafeteria.

First-grade students have been learning about the culture of Mexico as part of their unit on modern civilizations! On February 21st, parents are invited to join us for our classroom celebrations from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
