The Windsor Charter Academy Executive Board Election is just a few weeks away! This year, there are four candidates running for two open positions on the Executive Board. Executive Board Members serve as unpaid volunteers but contribute significantly to the leadership and strategic direction of our schools. Get to know our candidates!

Windsor Charter Academy is excited to offer our students a variety of summer sports camps! Many of our summer camps are open to the public.

We are gearing up for our annual volunteer appreciation celebrations! To ensure your service hours are counted, be sure to log your hours in ParentSquare. The deadline to log your volunteer hours is Friday, April 11th, at noon.

Breakthrough Basketball is hosting youth basketball camps at Windsor Charter Academy! The camp is open to students in 3rd through 9th grade. Sessions focus on developing better score moves, ball handling, and playmaking ability!

Last Friday, we concluded our support of the Serve 6.8 March Madness Food Drive. In total, WCA Middle School students donated 1,638 food items. That number far exceeded our goal of 1,000 items!

As we gear up for CMAS and end-of-year testing, it would be fitting to touch on self-esteem and positive self-talk. Whether we are in the midst of a busy time of year or just navigating middle school, self-esteem and the way our students talk to themselves play a crucial role in their overall well-being, academic success, and social interactions.

Congratulations to our 3rd Quarter Honor Roll recipients! These students will be recognized at school and receive a coupon for a “Firebird Dress Day”, to be used on Tuesday, April 22nd. 

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success  (CMAS) tests in April!  CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards. The state’s summative tests measure students’ mastery of grade-level standards and growth over time. 

In preparation for 8th Grade Continuation, we need pictures of 8th-grade students for their continuation video! One of the best elements of the 8th Grade Continuation Ceremony is the slideshow displaying pictures of our 8th graders at various stages of their childhood.
