Windsor Charter Academy is embarking on a new and exciting campaign to build a new Firebird Facility! Our proposed facility includes STEM and home economics classrooms, a high school commons area, a weight room, a competitive gymnasium and soccer field, and expanded parking.

Windsor Charter Academy has created a Booster Club to support our school, our athletic programs, and our Firebird athletes! The Booster Club works to support all sports and is focused on establishing and maintaining a first-class athletic program at our schools.

At Windsor Charter Academy, we celebrate College Week across our schools to promote our career and college-going culture. From November 2nd through November 5th, students will be engaged in a variety of exciting activities. Students are also invited to dress up each day to show their spirit!

Meadow Gold, our school milk supplier, has informed us that one of the machines in their milk production facility is broken. We have not received an estimated time on when that will be fixed.

Windsor Charter Academy is excited to host our 2021 Fall Festival! This event, formerly known as Trunk-or-Treat will be held indoors this year (hence, no trunks). =)

As approved by the Windsor Charter Academy Executive Board of Directors at Tuesday’s Board meeting, when riding on a bus or a passenger van, all students will be required to wear a mask. This requirement will begin to be enforced on Monday, September 27th.

The Windsor Charter Academy High School Cross Country team is hosting a Family Fun Run for all of our Firebird families. If your family is interested in participating in the Family Fun Fun Run, registration is required.

The Windsor Charter Academy Cheer Team is launching a crowdfunding initiative to raise funds to purchase competition-grade cheer mats. If your family is in a position to give, please consider supporting our cheer team. Go Firebirds!

Vision and Hearing Screenings at our elementary school will be conducted on Monday, October 11th and Tuesday October 12th. Middle and high school students will be screened on Tuesday, October 12th

Each year, Colorado state public schools participate in the October Student Count as required by the Colorado Department of Education. The purpose of this count is to determine an official number of students enrolled in each school.

September is National Suicide Awareness month. When a person is struggling with their mental health, providing a safe place to share their feelings can provide support.

All volunteers/visitors who are inside our school buildings during the school day will have to complete a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) background check every four years.

School fees for Windsor Charter Academy students are due at the start of the school year. The 2021-2022 School Fees were approved by the Executive Board.

Infinite Campus, commonly referred to as IC, is a student information management system used by Weld RE-4 School District and Windsor Charter Academy. All families have an IC account - one for each parent and one for each student.

Each year, our parents are asked to complete a Parent Agreement Form for each student enrolled at our school. Any student who does not have a signature form on file by the last day of August may have their technology account access revoked.

Windsor Charter Academy’s school counselors are committed to the social and emotional success of all students! Coffee with Counselors is a monthly event where our parents can meet with our elementary, middle, and high school counselors. The goal is to build a strong parent-school partnership to support the social-emotional needs of our students!
