Friday Firebird Awards

Each week, students are nominated by our teachers to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by demonstrating one of the Habits of Mind!

Collin R., a 9th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Dr. Innocenti shared, “Collin took the time and effort to improve his writing in his college history course. He met with his instructor on several occasions to improve his original quarter 1 exam grade. Fantastic work, Collin! You should be very proud of your persistence and willingness to improve. Please keep up this remarkable attitude in all your classes next semester.”


Carson D., an 11th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Davies shared, “Carson is striving to grow, improve, and deliver his best performance in math class just as he does on the basketball court! He is so close to mastering factoring and quadratic equations. He is positioning himself to totally dominate the 2nd half of Math 3. Great job, Carson! 


Linnae H., a 12th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Hollar shared, “Linnae always shows a wonderful attitude no matter what kind of day she has had. She also spreads her positivity to people around her. Her positivity is contagious! Thanks for listening to others and showing them how to look on the bright side, Lainnae!”


Alexis L., a 12th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Hollar shared, “Lexi has shown great dedication to ASL. She has been using ASL outside of class when she serves as a teaching assistant at the elementary school. I love that she is interested and spreading her joy of learning ASL with others!”
