Celebrating Two Teachers for Their Lifesaving Work

During a high school art class this week, two of our incredible teachers, Jenny Unruh and Kel Madigent, demonstrated quick thinking and lifesaving skills when a student began choking on an apple. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, they immediately performed the Heimlich maneuver. Thanks to their swift and effective actions, the student successfully expelled the apple and is now safe and well.

We are immensely grateful for their quick thinking, composure, and care! They serve as important reminders to always be vigilant and prepared. We have true heroes at our school!
