Fifth-grade students have been learning about the Renaissance over the past several weeks! On May 1st at 8:30 a.m., students will celebrate their learning with a fun Core Knowledge event. During the Renaissance Fair, students will rotate through various activities and dress in Renaissance-inspired costumes. Families are invited to attend the Renaissance Fair.
Mrs. Herrback and Mrs. Winder have created a quarterly newsletter for parents called “Counselor’s Connection.” Click here to learn more about emotional regulation and tips on how to help students manage their emotions when they feel overwhelmed.
Kindergarten students have been studying the seven continents of the world! We will celebrate our studies with a fun celebration filled with various activities that portray the culture of each continent. Guests are invited to attend our classroom celebrations from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the classrooms and cafeteria.

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests in April! CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards. The state’s summative tests measure students’ mastery of grade-level standards and growth over time.
Windsor Charter Academy’s teachers want to ensure our incoming kindergarten students have a great start to the school year! On Thursday, April 24th, Windsor Charter Academy’s kindergarten teachers will work one-on-one with incoming kindergarten students to assess their level of basic kindergarten skills.
