On Wednesday, May 15th, students will celebrate their 5th-grade continuation with a trip to Rollerland Skate Center in Fort Collins! This is a student-only field trip.

We are excited to celebrate our 5th-grade students as they make their way to middle school!  Our 5th Grade Continuation Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 21st at 8:25 a.m. 

We are excited to celebrate our Kindergarten students as they finish their first year of school!  Our Kindergarten Continuation Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 12th at 8:30 a.m.

First-grade students will celebrate what they have learned on May 6th from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. at their Living Animal Wax Museum! To support their learning as expository writers, 1st graders will present information about a living animal they have researched and written about.

Fifth-grade students have been learning about the Renaissance over the past several weeks! On May 1st at 8:30 a.m., students will celebrate their learning with a fun Core Knowledge event. During the Renaissance Fair, students will rotate through various activities and dress in Renaissance-inspired costumes. Families are invited to attend the Renaissance Fair.

As the end of the year approaches, please be sure that your student has turned in their library books!

Kindergarten students have been studying the seven continents of the world! We will celebrate our studies with a fun celebration filled with various activities that portray the culture of each continent. Guests are invited to attend our classroom celebrations from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the classrooms and cafeteria.

We are excited to start planning our classrooms for the next school year! Windsor Charter Academy teachers and administrators are responsible for placing all children within a classroom learning environment that best suits their academic, social, and behavioral needs. We strive to create and maintain learning environments that are structured, nurturing, caring, supportive, and challenging for every child!

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Honor Roll Assembly for our 3rd quarter will be held on Friday, April 11th at 8:30 a.m. in the ES Gymnasium. Doors will open at 8:10 a.m. Parents of students who earned an honor roll recognition will receive an email inviting them to the assembly. 

We are excited to invite students to WCA’s Middle School Cheerleading Tryouts! Athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and join our dynamic cheerleading team. Middle school cheerleaders participate in sideline cheers at games, team bonding, summer camps, and more!

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success  (CMAS) tests in April!  CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards. The state’s summative tests measure students’ mastery of grade-level standards and growth over time. 

Families are cordially invited to join the 2nd-grade team in their classrooms from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on April 18th as we celebrate our youngest authors and all of their hard work this year! Students will share their writing throughout the year while enjoying cookies and lemonade.
