Fifth grade students have been learning about the Renaissance time period over the past several weeks! On May 4th at 8:30 a.m., students will celebrate their learning with a fun Core Knowledge event.

We are excited to host Field Day and May Fair on May 16th! This year, we have a country western theme. This end-of-year event is a special tradition at our school! 

We are excited to celebrate our 5th grade students as they make their way to middle school! Our 5th Grade Continuation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 17th at 8:25 a.m. After the Continuation Ceremony, students will leave for their field trip to Rollerland. The field trip is a student-only event.

Save the date! We are excited to announce that our Firebird Fun Run will be held on Thursday, May 11th! This year’s Fun Run will be held at the Future Legends Sports Complex. Our kick-off assembly will be on Friday, April 21st.

We invite parents to join us for our AVID Showcase on May 2nd! Parents are invited to sign up for one of ten slots to walk through our school to see the amazing AVID instruction happening within our classrooms!

As the end of the year approaches, please be sure that your student has turned in their library books!
