Battle of the Books fosters a culture of reading at our school! Battle of the Books is a fun Family Feud-style competition in which teams of students compete against peer schools to test their knowledge of a selection of books. We will read and practice throughout the year and compete in a final competition in the spring.
Clearview Library District assigns a book list with eight books. Each student must read at least five books. Students who enjoy reading do well in this club!
Grade: Battle of the Books is open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Students must meet AR goals while in the club.
Reading List: 2024-25 Battle of the Books Reading List
Please note that our school library has limited books on hand, so students may be responsible for obtaining the books on their own. The reading list will have links to purchase books. Students can also find the books at one of our local libraries. Please make sure to reserve your copies at the library early because many Windsor schools are participating in this competition.

Donate: Battle of the Books is a program that offers 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students the opportunity to read. This program is free to all participants, but donations are always appreciated! Donations will go towards purchasing copies of books for our students to check out from the library and hosting an end-of-competition event for our readers. Thank you for supporting a culture of reading at our school!
