Halloween Parties and Parade

Our elementary school classes will celebrate Halloween on Tuesday, October 29th! We are excited to welcome our families to our school and see all of their creative costumes!

Halloween Costumes

Students may come to school dressed in their Halloween costumes. Costumes must be free of weapons of any kind or excessive face paint (no blood/gore). Students may not wear Halloween masks to school but may wear them during classroom parties and parades.

Halloween Parade

The entrance for the Halloween Parade will be located at the northeast gate. Guests will be able to view the Halloween parade in the northeast corner grassy area or the backfield starting at 1:30 p.m. All guests who have completed a background check will be permitted to enter through the gate on the northeast corner of the school property beginning at 1:00 p.m.

There will be a Fast Pass line and a non-Fast Pass line. All guests should be prepared to show their photo ID.

Cones will be placed to create a designated walkway for students. We kindly ask that you refrain from standing on the path. Additionally, to ensure the smooth flow of the parade, please avoid giving high fives or making physical contact with students.

Following the parade, we invite our guests to our classroom Halloween parties! Guests must have a wristband to enter the building. Kindergarten will not have celebrations after the parade as they already had their Spooky Celebration. Kindergarten parents or guests not staying for classroom parties may exit the northeast gate.

Background Checks

We require background checks to be completed 48 hours prior to the event. Any guest who hasn’t completed a background check 48 hours prior to the event must enter through the front office and be prepared to show a photo ID. For more information on this process, please visit our Background Check & Fast Passes webpage

Volunteers & Lunch Guests

Set-Up Volunteers for Halloween Classroom Parties

Only designated set-up volunteers for the Halloween celebrations will be allowed to enter the building before the parade. Set-up volunteers will be checked in from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. through the east doors. If set-up volunteers arrive after 12:45 p.m., they will need to enter through the back northeast gate.

Lunch Guests & Other Volunteers

Due to the busyness of the day, we kindly ask that parents refrain from visiting for lunch or volunteering in the morning. However, we invite everyone to join us in the afternoon for the parade and celebrations!

Checking Students Out Early

All guests who plan to check students out early will need to get an early dismissal slip for each child from their classroom teacher and show it at the exit as they leave.

Parking

Out of respect for our neighboring businesses, please use one of our three parking lots or the church parking lot. Please do not park at Windsor Gymnastics Academy or any of the Future Legends parking lots, as your vehichle may be towed. If you park on Garden Drive, Diamond Valley East, or Academy Court, your vehicle should be moved by 2:45 p.m. to allow for pick up.
