Over the past several weeks, we have noticed an influx of students arriving without a face covering. Please send an extra face covering with your child every day. Windsor Charter Academy’s goal is to keep our students and staff safe and continue learning in their classrooms!

Colorado weather is changing quickly! It is important that students are sent to school with appropriate clothing for cold and wet weather conditions. The weather and temperature are monitored throughout the school day.

Third through fifth grade students receive academic recognition for making honor roll. On November 6th, parents of students receiving recognition will receive an email with an honor roll certificate.

Please make sure to submit your Original Works order by November 11th!

Windsor Charter Academy is proud to celebrate College Week! We will celebrate our strong college-going culture and continue to encourage students to think about their college and career plans. Students can celebrate with us by dressing up each day of the week.

WCA's Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) would like your help to treat our teachers and staff with Boo Baskets! Families can put together a fun basket of treats ($10 suggested value) with candy, gift cards, or other trinkets!

Online schooling during COVID-19 has has drastically changed the amount of time children spend on the internet. The internet provides dynamic opportunities to learn and connect with others, but also introduces risks, including: cyber bullying, exposure to inappropriate material, online predators, sexting, and over-sharing of personal information. During this seminar, Robb Miller, Assistant District Attorney at the Weld County District Attorney's Office, will provide vital information regarding how parents can keep their children safe in the digital world.

Due to popular demand, Chessmates is offering an online course for first-time players and their parents to learn the basics of the game! This is a great 4-week course to take before joining one of our school chess clubs. This online course is taught by candidate master Brad Lundstrom.

On October 15th and 16th, the parking lot at Windsor Baptist Church will be repaved. The parking lot will be completely blocked off for these two days.

Our elementary school classes will celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 30th! Students may come to school dressed in their Halloween costume.
